As a faculty contributor, you don’t need to design a game, you just need to help us imagine a world where students learn through experience. To kick off that process, we start with three core questions: What do you want the player to do in the game? What is the adventure or journey they take? * This question helps frame your topic as a narrative experience. What challenge does the player face? What do they need to explore, solve, or change? Thinking in terms of quests and actions turns content into story. Who is the player in the story and what motivates them? * The player takes on a role. So who are they, and why are they here? Clarifying this helps us define the world they inhabit, the characters they meet, and the choices they face. Motivation drives engagement. What do you want students to remember or reflect on after playing? * What’s the key takeaway? Whether it's a concept, a question, or a new perspective, this defines your learning goals. It also helps us decide what decisions, metrics, or moments of reflection to build into the game. Submit If you are human, leave this field blank.
